Justin Monroe是一位名在美国加州洛杉矶发展的摄影师。他为很多时尚杂志拍摄大片，这其中也包含同志杂志。Justin出身在一个艺术氛围浓厚的家庭，父母是音乐家和画家。小时候的他很喜欢戏剧表演，这也一直影响了他现在的摄影作品，他喜欢用影象来表现戏剧的张力。
他的摄影其实涉及了很多主题，但他在挖掘表现深层次的欲望方面最让人震撼。Fetish, Domination and Submission都是擅长的话题。尤其值得注意的作品中体现出来的让人血脉喷张的性感张力。
在接受Beautiful的专访是他自己也说：“I want to create a sense of hyper sensation. I think of
an image doesn’t evoke an emotional response, it is useless to me. I like my
images to speak to the viewer. Sex. Anger. Humor. Etc…”
